Cards That Move begins as a real 6 × 4 photograph in a simple folded card. When the recipient points their phone at the photograph, the still image becomes their personal video.

Pilot Card That Moves
£10 plus £2 UK postage. Limited to five pilot orders.
You pay first, then receive a private upload link by email. Upload one video between 3 and 10 seconds, no larger than 100 MB. Portrait and landscape videos are accepted. The first frame becomes the proposed printed photograph, so compose it carefully and keep important details near the centre.
We’ll check the video and send you the proposed photograph before making your card. The inside remains blank for your own message. We aim to dispatch within 7 to 10 working days after you approve the photograph. UK delivery only during the pilot.
One year of the moving experience is included
Your video is stored securely online so the photograph can come to life through your phone. This hosting is included for one year from dispatch.
Before the year ends, we’ll email you. Continued hosting may be available for a small yearly fee. If you do not continue, the physical card remains yours, but the photograph will no longer play the video.
We’ll keep an inactive copy for a further 12 months so you can reactivate it. After that, we’ll contact you before permanently deleting our copy. Please always keep your original video.

Fulfilment, privacy and cancellations
Contact. Cards That Move is operated by James J Connelly. Use the enquiry form below if you have a question before buying. After payment, reply to your order email and include the order number.
Privacy. We use your contact, delivery and video information to make, deliver and host your card. Your video stays in private storage and is not used for marketing without separate permission.
Fulfilment. UK delivery is included in the £12 total. We aim to dispatch 7 to 10 working days after you approve the proposed photograph.
Cancellations and personalised products. Contact us promptly if you need to cancel. Once personalised work begins, the usual change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply to goods made to your specification. This does not affect your rights if the product is faulty, not as described or cannot be produced. If we cannot make the card successfully, we’ll provide a full refund.

Before you begin.
What will I need?
A personal video you have permission to use, and a compatible phone with camera access to view the AR experience. The existing viewer runs in a browser; device compatibility still needs testing for these products.
Can I choose the photograph?
The first frame becomes the proposed portrait or landscape photograph. Begin the video with the image you want printed. We send the proposed photograph for your approval before printing.
How long will the video be hosted?
The video is hosted online for one year from dispatch so the photograph can play it. Before the year ends, we’ll email you. Continued hosting may be available for a small yearly fee. If you do not continue, the physical card remains yours, but the moving experience stops. We keep an inactive copy for a further 12 months and contact you before permanently deleting our copy.
Can I keep my videos?
Please keep your original video. The pilot does not yet include a customer download system. Hosting expiry stops the moving experience but does not immediately delete our copy.
Can I order now?
This website is an early preview. Ordering and customer uploads are not open. Please use the enquiry form to tell us what you would like to make. Prices, delivery arrangements and fulfilment are not yet confirmed.
